Debby Gomulka founded Debby Gomulka Designs in 2000 after spending five years in the furniture and design industry. Combining this experience with her family background in art and antique collecting gives Debby her comprehensive knowledge of interior design. Debby's innate sense of style has graced many residences and offices throughout NC. Her evolution toward interior design was a natural one - she completed the interior design program at Meredith College in Raleigh, NC. Since then, the firm has participated in several show houses in the NC area, notably the Woman's Club of Raleigh/ASID Designer Show house 2008 and the Annual Historic Homes Tour during the Azalea Festival in Wilmington, NC.

"Good design never compromises excellence in quality," says Debby. "Attention to the details gives a home its character and personality." Debby and her staff are sensitive to the diverse needs of their clients' projects. Having worked from Wilmington, NC to the Raleigh-Durham area, Debby's greatest pride is her client's happiness in seeing their dreams visualized in their newly designed home.

Debby's background in interior design extends to her interest in urban design. Working with Durham Area Designers, in Durham, NC, Debby has participated and helped lead several design charrettes, including the 9th Street Charrette, the Downtown Durham Master Plan, and the Old Durham Bulls Athletic Park. In addition, Debby served on the Design Committee for the Dowtown Goldsboro Development Corporation in Goldsboro, NC and was a judge for the National Association of Homes Builders Parade of Homes in Winston-Salem, NC. Currently, Debby is an active member of the Faison Improvement Group, which focuses on the redevelopment of downtown Faison, NC, an historical southern town in eastern NC. Debby will chair the upcoming 2008 Holiday Homes Tour. Luxury housing, mixed-use and commercial projects all benefit from the firm's dynamic approach to improving the quality of life through interior design. Debby operates her design business out of Wilmington, North Carolina and oversees all design projects.
